These are surprisingly comfortable to walk in for such a cute, high "looking" wedge. The straps cross on top of foot so they stay very secure while walking. The back of the shoe conforms comfortably to the heel to prevent slipping. Also, the rubber sole grips the floor quite well to prevent slipping on floors.
