Now that business is sorted, here's some info about me!

I live in the high desert which means it's hot and dry almost always. I do get to live under an hour away from beautiful mountains though. I love to spend time up in the cool mountains near the creeks and abandoned mines (precisely where I'm not supposed to be).

I work in veterinary medicine and I work long hours, 10 to 12 hours per day, actually. I wear waterproof shoes so, my socks get used very well during the day. As do my undies and my bras. Some days, I come home with some extras on them. 😳

If I'm not working, I want to be outside as much as possible, when the heat isn't oppressive. I love gardening, taking care of my chickens (feather play from shed feathers?), rockhounding (wearing hiking boots for that!), and sometimes just getting lost in a quiet space where there's a cool breeze.

I try to be barefoot as much as possible but with the nasty pokey plants where I live, I must have something on, that's where flip flops and sandals come in.
